Your responsibilities:
- Independent coordination and management of sourcing initiatives in IT hardware, software cloud solutions, networks and telecom in collaboration with the client
- Analyze and calculate costs of procurement and suggest methods to decrease expenditure
- Define and execute negotiation strategies and secure value adding deals for our clients
- Collaborate closely with senior stakeholders internally and externally (clients and vendors)
- Control and execution of tenders (RfX) in close cooperation with internal and external partners
- Perform cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarking
- Estimate risks and apply risk minimizing techniques
- Build and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers
Your profile:
- University degree in business administration or technology
- 5-10 years IT sourcing experience with strong knowledge for software licensing models, Data Center Operations & Cloud Services: IaaS, PaaS, SaaS. Strong knowledge and experience in terms of Telco & Network sourcing are of high advantage
- Service oriented mindset and ability to interact with senior stakeholders
- Ability to lead negotiations for large deals on the client’s behalf
- Good analytical and conceptual skills and quick understanding of complex content, figures and interfaces
- Understanding of technologies / processes / tools as well as contractual and legal aspects of IT
- Proactive, pragmatic, target oriented and assertive personality with strong communication, excellent negotiation and presentation skills
- Team player with high social competence and a winning personality
- Experience with sourcing tools and processes
- Business fluency in German and English. French would be an advantage
